Springing Forward

Sew WOW!!! I haven't been able to enjoy my new design in about a week or two as our house has been a little under the weather the last week, I was crafting last week and cut my finger so I put myself on restriction when it came to the craft room, and lets just say it looks like it... the projects are just piling up... but I'm better now and glad to be back to typing... blogging and sewing

Sew its March, where has the time gone its almost April which means spring break... Easter and my little mans 6th birthday are all right around the corner... I have been talking with the hubby to decide what to get little man for his birthday we have talked about toys, since he is thinking about a hot wheels party. We have been looking at Swing sets for kids at CSN Stores, and looking at maybe getting the kiddos some new outdoor toys maybe a Trampoline like this one.

Or maybe one of those bouncy house type things this one is awesome from kids wise

Or who knows maybe we will keep it low key and just set up our little pool like this one

There are so many choices but I know I still have time as his birthday is at the end of May but the way this year is flying by I'm sure it will be here before we know it. So if you are shopping around for some fun out door items for your kiddos don't forget to check out CSN Stores they have so many items to choose from.

CSN Stores Review

So I finally received it.... My  long awaited Le Creuset Stoneware, shortly after Christmas I was given the opportunity from CSN Stores to review a product of my choice. This was such a hard decision as Christmas had just past but I have to say I have always loved Cooking and Le Creuset Stoneware is amazing. If you haven't ever cooked with Stoneware you have no idea what you are missing. The even baking style and the nonstick surface makes anything that you bake come out completely amazing. I had a $75 credit to use as I saw fit as much as I would have loved the complete kitchen set I decided on adding some new stoneware to my collection of Red cookware.

The rectangle baker and 5 x 7 pan is amazing, the tart pan makes it nice for those wonderful sweets or breads that you have been putting off, the 9x9 baker is wonderful for those brownies or maybe a small cobbler.

I think I'm in love, I was able to make some potatoes with my Little Bug in the microwave, (not my first choice to cook something) but heck when little momma wants to cook its the safest way.

Then the stuffed chicken rocked out the oven and BAM

We had an awesome home cooked mean in less than 20 minutes. Caleigh had a blast helping mommy cook and my Le Creuset stoneware is amazing. I might just have to whip up some brownies soon so I have an excuse to use it... I'm in love with my new cookware. If you have a moment head on over to CSN Stores and pick up a few pieces for your own collection, Happy Baking.

Is it just me.... or is everyone.....

I'm sitting thinking that WOW its the 15th of December and holy cow where did the time go. Christmas is less than a week and a half away. I cant believe it I have so many sewing projects to finish, I have presents to wrap... I have shopping still to do, but through all the craziness and stress the family and I took a mental health family day and went to brunch with Santa. My babies are growing up before my eyes I cant believe its been 5 years since B was born. Here are a few pictures from our brunch with Santa for everyone to enjoy.

I think her face says it all.....
 Mommy and her little man
 Me and my Princess

 He is so handsome.
 Me and the hubby
 Showing Santa her earrings

They got to wrap up there family day with there Great Grandma... We had a great day and I feel like it was a  great day to kick off the holiday season...

So what is your Christmas wish this year... Have you been a good girl or boy... Did you ask Santa for all your wishes... Did you think what do I want this year. I have been thinking for weeks what do I want for Christmas this year... So lets see I know that I could use allot of new fun things for the sewing studio to start I want..... The simplicity Bias Tape Maker I think by far that is my #1 wish this year....
Then hubby wants a flat screen TV so we can get rid of our entertainment center that I think is on its last leg.... so that leaves me to think what else would I really want maybe a new TV stand... or a corner tv stand , or maybe a fireplace TV stand.  There are so many possibilities out there for TV Stands, I think by far my favorite might have to be the fireplace TV stands as that is where I keep going back to. I have found a few that I truly love though I posted some pics so that you could see.

But I have to say this corner unit is cute. If you are in the market this holiday for a TV stand you can click on over to CSN stores and they are guaranteeing some of there site to get there for Christmas. So if you get a moment click on over. I think the other holiday wish item by far would have to be the Haan Steam mop, with 2 small kiddos This is a must have for any mom. I hope Santa has this underneath my tree this year.... HINT HINT....And did you know that I found it at best buy in RED... OMG I think I'm in love

So here is a sneak peak into my Christmas wish list... so what is your Christmas wish list this year... if you could have anything in the world what would it be this year... besides world peace and stop hunger and to make sure every little angel in the world has someone to tuck them in at night and all the little angels in heaven have someone to hold them tight. I wish everyone a very joyous holiday season and look forward to catching up with everyone soon.

Total Randomness ......

So as i sit here on this wonderful Sunday evening I find myself, relaxed and just plain excited about the upcoming Crazy busy week. I find myself reflecting on the past, present and future and anticipating what lies ahead..... Am I the only one that does that.... who knows.

Today was a pretty productive day got the house cleaned, got to spend some quality time with kiddos, hubby had to work today, so he was missed. I have been sewing up a storm trying to get those last minute Christmas projects done, I got to also spend some time with some great friends. I'm looking forward to the upcoming Holiday, WOW who would have thought Thanksgiving would be here in just a little over a week. WOW, where did 2010 go, this week I find excitement not only in sewing those Christmas projects, but getting ready for baby girls 3rd birthday.

The past 3 years have been not only rewarding, sad, happy, overwhelming, and fun but I have learned how to be a stronger person a better mother and wife and learned how to let things go and move on and away from things that I cant change. C - has taught me how to look at the world through her eyes and find strength, love, and kindness in the smallest of things. I cant believe that 3 years ago that we were preparing for her to come into this world, I look forward to celebrating her life this week as we approach her birhtday on the 21st. We are having her party on the 20th which I cant wait to share pictures, we are going all out this year to celebrate her life, her triumphs and accomplishments. God truly broke the mold when he created my red headed princess, and I thank him everyday for blessing me to be her mom.

Another reason I'm excited this week is because I have also been asked to do another review for CSN store, now everyone in the blog world knows who CSN is. I was fortunate enough to host a review a few months back and was blessed to finally get the espresso machine that had been on my long list of WANTS, they have over 200 + stores, that sell everything from barstool, home decor, bedding, kitchen, kids toys, anything that you could ever imagine of wanting or needing CSN offers. I look forward to my upcoming review and consider an early 30th birthday gift and Christmas present. I love working with CSN Stores and cant wait to share my review with you all.

CSN Review

I was contacted by CSN Store to review one of there products. If you have not been to CSN then you don't know what your missing, they have it all, with over 200+ stores to choose from it made it very difficult to decide what it was that I wanted to try, but also needed. I researched for a few weeks before I finally decided on...... Drum Role Please......

The DeLonghi Espresso Machine

For everyone that has followed my blog, close, friends and family all know that I have a few small addictions, One is to the fabric store, but what sewer doesn't have that addiction. The other would have to be that I'm a dye hard Starbucks junkie, I live and breathe Starbucks but my checkbook never likes the tally at the end of the week, and neither does the hubby. I decided that I would venture and get something that might not only work for our household but save us a bit of cash also. I found out thru a good friend of our families that Starbucks sells thier syrups and sauces, they will also ground the espresso beans by the half pound or pound. So I ventured out bought my syrup $6.95 the Carmel sauce $4.95 and the half pound of espresso $6.00 Grand total $17.90.

On to the review, I wasn't sure if I was going to like my homemade Carmel Machiattos or not but I figured I had this wonderful machine to try out why not give it a try. The machine itself has a few features that I love, the first one is that the tank is cast iron and the cover has a locking mechanism on it so that if the pressure and steam are built up in the machine, it will not allow you to open the cover which is a great feature if you have kiddos around.

Some Cons that I have found with the machine are, that the only way that you can steam the milk is if you are brewing the espresso so I make a double batch each time just in case I need two glasses but it isn't as much of a pain in the bottom as I thought it would be. It takes me about 5 minutes from start to finish to make a Venti Carmel Machiatto in the morning, and I am saving myself $5.50 so I figured at 7 days a week at one drink a day, That is roughly $38.50 a week, and you can get about 3 weeks worth of coffees out of a half pound bag and 6 weeks worth out of full pound bag so over a 3 week period that would be $115.50 and I paid $17.90 for my supplies in the end I think that our investment was worth it. I have learned to make it just like my good ole Starbucks, so no more detours to the drive thru just a pit stop to the kitchen before heading out to our daily schedules.

I would highly recommend this machine to anyone, it is very easy to use if you have never used an espresso machine before, you can not only make lattes, cappuccinos, but I get my Carmel machiattos as well. Look forward to my new morning tradition. If you get a free moment stitch on over to CSN stores and check out what wonderful products they have to offer.

Upholstered Headboards

Well its time for one of those fun teaser posts from CSN. I want to start by talking about upholstered headboards - think elegance and luxury. When I go on vacation or to a hotel I just love the look and feel of the rooms and the atmosphere, the way the rooms are put together the feel of the elegant furniture and most of all the comfort and style.

Most of us think comfort and not luxury when shopping for a bed, but why not have both. CSN has a wide variety of different styles that will fit anyone's budget.

Have you been to bedroomfurniture.com lately (this is just one of over 200+ stores that CSN has to offer). They have a huge selection of upholstered headboards.

How beautiful are these two headboard I think Luxury, glamours, I think of something I would see in a magazine.

If your in the market for a new headboard or maybe your redoing your room head on over to CSN and check out one of there fabulous stores and maybe you can find everything you need in one spot. Happy shopping !
