All I have to say is "INDULGENCE"

Sew WOW is it really March already I feel like I slept through February, Allot has changed around here, Not sure the ground hog was right because it has been feeling like spring here in Virginia.
Has anyone been to the grocery store lately and saw the new Cream Cheese. A little Secret I love so cream cheese and chocolate well I think I get that from my dad and grandad they love to get the midnight munchies and chocolate always does the trick So any who have you seen.

Sew being the frugal mommy I try to be hubby and I had a coupon he thought I was nuts but the choices and heck it was double coupon day so I had to Indulge myself and see what all the fuss was about. There are 3 favors well how is a woman to choose.

I love Dark Chocolate, but I was thinking of using some Nilla Wafers so turned to the White Chocolate but finally decided on the Milk Chocolate... All I have to say ladies its the best snack ever.

I mean look at the creamy goodness there is 110 calories per serving which is about 2 tablespoons which is allot of cream cheese there is only 7g of fat I'm in heaven it beats buying a Kit Kat bar or something not as good or healthy.

The dark chocolate on strawberries is just like chocolate dipped without the rude inches that hit your waist line. I have to say that no day is compete with out pairing it with a great cup of coffee so this is my new dirty little secret snack that wont hurt the bikini waist line.... (bwahahaha sorry I had to pick my self off the floor after laughing so hard out a bikini waist line like that would ever happen)

Sew whats your favorite afternoon snack that makes you feel guilty but really isn't all that bad?

Stressful Times = shut up and craft about it

So Its been a few weeks since I have been able to truly sit down and give my poor blog some love. School has started and life seems busier than normal I feel overwhelmed some days, stressed others but I thought I would share some of the things we have been up to here in the Bauer household. We have been baking (from scratch) something new for us trying to help out Monkeys tummy issues. We have been sewing, Scapbooking, crafting, getting our creative flare some love. I have had on many hats from mommy to wife to care taker and getting some things in order for monkey bugs medical which is a full time 365 day a week job most days, but being creative gets me to focus on something else. So this is what we have been doing. What have you been up to the last few weeks.

The goodbye gifts we made her Speech and Occupational Therapist C is starting school so she had to get new therapist as she no longer qualifies for Early Intervention. Such a bittersweet day. These are the collages that we put in them.

We Said goodbye to A wonderful Occupational Therapist she not only brought love and patience but she gave my little girl the strength to get thru the day. Goodbyes are never easy to do.

We made Cheesecake

Started School Bug started Special Ed Pre-k3 while Bubba started kindergarten

We made cream puffs as a yummo after school treat.

I made some custom dresses for a friend, The first one is turkeys with reverse to snowman and the other one is Virginia Tech Reversible to another Tech design.
The Hubster and I celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss.

And we got family pictures done. Well that's what we have been up to the last month, I look forward to catching up with my blogging friends. I have so many things I'm working on to get ready for fall, Christmas EEK its right around the corner, Halloween, so much sewing and crafts. I can not wait to share them with everyone.

Southern Banana Bread

I love baking and finding new recipes to try, I had bought some bananas but with the 100+ weather we have been having the last couple of weeks fruit doesn't seem to last long in our house. My poor bananas turned within 2 days so instead of throwing them away I wanted to make a super yummy snack for the kiddos to eat. I knew I wanted a sweet recipe but wasn't sure what I was looking for until I came across this Southern Banana Bread recipe It caught my eye because who doesn't like banana Bread, and this one had a frosting so the best of both worlds.
